School Program

Extend your classroom in Regina's only indoor tropical garden! We invite you to visit the Regina Floral Conservatory, a beautiful tropical greenhouse located at 1450B 4th Avenue, close to the Regina Public School Board Office. We provide a learning program from Pre-school to Grade Eight that follows the Science Curriculumclosely and is appropriate to the age and ability of our student visitors.

A Regina Garden Associate member leads the session. The 1.5 hour program consists of exploring the nature of plants which will include a tour of our beautiful conservatory followed by an opportunity for each student to plant a cutting to take home. Teachers are very welcome to extend their own educational activities at the Conservatory after the tour. We hope to see you this year in Regina's best kept secret garden! Teachers are advised to book early to ensure that their classes take advantage of this special hands-on gardening experience. Two classes per session may be accommodated from November to March.

To make the Conservatory a fun and safe place for all we ask that you:

  • Respect our property, including not leaning, sitting, standing or placing objects on the retaining walls in the display area.
  • Respect our space by using your inside voice and walking.
  • Teachers and parent chaperones are to supervise children at ALL times and in all areas of the building including classroom, greenhouse and display area.
  • Any costs incurred as a result of damage to the display or building by any members of your school group will be invoiced back to your school.
