KidsCanGrow11Lil’ Gardeners Club is open to children from age one to five and their parents/grandparents. The program provides a great opportunity for these preschoolers to experience the Conservatory and all it has to offer and for parents to get out of the house and meet other families.

We set up different stations for the kids (bubbles, sandbox, water table, painting, crafts, and more) and have plenty of toys from wheelbarrows to watering cans, and lawnmowers to little shovels. Children also get to plant and take home a plant. Families are welcome to bring their own snacks. Please note that parents are responsible for supervising their children.

  1. I am wanting to register my twin granddaughters and myself. Does there need to be one adult per child? Please confirm the registration, is it September 4th?

One parent is fine. The on-line registration is Sept. 4th. We have a new website which I am currently updating. Sorry for any confusion.

  2. I am very disappointed in the little gardeners program. The registration process has consistently been a disappointment with us having no chance to register. Online and in the paper said Sept 5th and now that has been changed. My son enjoyed this but we have yet to have my daughter have a chance. This is the last time I will try as the disappointment in how the registration runs isn’t worth the bother.
