Lil Gardeners Club Registration begins Sept 8 – 18, 2021

By Designer,

Lil Gardeners’ Club is open to children from age one to five and their parents/grandparents. The program provides a great opportunity for these preschoolers to experience the Conservatory and all it has to offer and for parents to get out of the house and meet other families.

We set up different stations for the kids (bubbles, sandbox, water table, painting, crafts, and more) and have plenty of toys from wheelbarrows to watering cans, and lawnmowers to little shovels. Children also get to plant and take home a plant. Families are welcome to bring their own snacks. Please note that parents are responsible for supervising their children.

Gardening Fact Sheets on Perennials

By Designer,

With support from the Conexus Credit Union‘s (CCU) Community Investment Program, the Regina Garden Associates (RGA) at the Regina Floral Conservatory aim to promote environmental stewardship through a series of gardening fact sheets, teaching appreciation of growing plants and basic gardening practices to the general public.

The RGA has released two new fact sheets on perennials – one for Partial Sun to Full Sun and a second for Partial Shade to Full Shade.  These fact sheets will help any level of gardener when it comes to planning a perennial garden, selecting different colours and heights of plants, determining layout and location, and learning about which perennials grow best in our climate.

The series of gardening fact sheets also includes sheets on Composting in the Home Garden and Fall Bulbs.

Visit the Regina Floral Conservatory often and continue learning about gardening through our fact sheets.

Scent-Free Environment

By Designer,

Help us keep the air we share healthy.

The chemicals used in scented products can make some people sick, especially those with fragrance sensitivities, asthma, allergies and other medical conditions.

Please do not wear perfume, cologne, aftershave  and other fragrances.
