Extend your classroom in Regina’s only indoor tropical garden! We invite you to visit the Regina Floral Conservatory, a beautiful tropical greenhouse located at 1450B 4th Avenue, next to the Regina Public School Board Office.

SCHOOL TOURS

We provide a learning program from Pre-school to Grade Eight that follows the Science Curriculum closely and is appropriate to the age and ability of our student visitors.

A Regina Garden Associate member leads the session. The one and a half hour program consists of exploring the nature of plants which will include a tour of our beautiful conservatory and an opportunity for each student to plant a cutting to take home. Teachers are advised to book early to ensure that their classes take advantage of this special hands-on gardening experience. We hope to see you this year in Regina’s best kept secret garden!

NEW IN 2023-24: High School Tours, including our newest tour, “Benefits of Plants for Mental Health and Wellness”, are now available. Additional tour content may be determined in consultation with the teacher.

School Tours are offered Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM only, and are available from September through May. March, April, and May are the most popular months. Plan to book early or plan to consider booking for an alternate month.

Cost: $6 per student.

Financial Assistance: More Kids can Grow with School Tours

Your School Tour may be eligible for financial assistance based on need. Please apply in an email to education@reginafloralconservatory.ca including pertinent details of your request. Ensure that you have included your school, the number of students participating in the tour and their ages/grade(s) in addition to the need for financial assistance. In considering your request, it is also helpful for us to know how a Floral Conservatory School Tour will enhance your students’ classroom learning, their health and well-being and/or other aspects of development.

TOUR REQUEST

ALL school or group tours must be pre-booked with the Regina Garden Associates, Regina Floral Conservatory. Interested teachers should complete the form below. We will review your information and contact you to finalize your booking. Due to limited space in our facility, we accept only single class bookings.
