Regina Floral Conservatory Provides a Safe Space for Parents to Connect
On January 19, 2026, CBC Radio highlighted Parent Cafe on The Morning Edition – Sask. Ron Sharpe, Darcie Boehlen, and the Co-coordinator for the Saskatchewan Perinatal Health Network were all interviewed and outlined the goals of the initiative and the importance for opportunities for new parents to grow connections.
Being in nature and around people can be something that really helps feelings of anxiety and depression, but it can often seem impossible during the winter months. That’s why a new gathering event for parents and caregivers has started at the floral conservatory, promising lush greens and open conversations.

Volunteer
The Regina Floral Conservatory is operated by volunteers of the Regina Garden Associates (RGA). Volunteer at the Conservatory by becoming a member of the RGA. There are many roles for you to get involved and volunteer your time!
