This monthly class is held at the Regina Floral Conservatory on the first Sunday of every month from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM (except for April – this class will be held on Sunday, April 16).
There is a limit of 30 participants per class and you must pre-register by reserving your ticket on our Eventbrite page at the link below. Tickets go live for reservation the Friday before class at 12:30 PM.
The cost is donation based (give what you can) with all proceeds given to the Regina Floral Conservatory. Donations can be made before class with cash or tap only.
The class is hosted by Pamela R. Kovacs, a volunteer with the Regina Garden Associates and a Sivananda 200-Hour Certified Yoga Instructor.
The Gentle Restorative Yoga Class in the Sivananda tradition incorporates breathing (yogic breathing can help reduce stress by deeply and consciously increasing oxygen intake), exercise (yogic exercises can help develop a strong and healthy body by enhancing flexibility and improving circulation) and relaxation (yogic relaxation can help keep the body from going into overload, ease worry and reduce fatigue).
No prior experience with yoga is necessary. Participants will need to:
-Bring their own yoga mat
-Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes
-Be mindful of time (participants can arrive 10 minutes early for class which will start on time and the entry door will be locked)
-Disclose any injuries
-Identify whether adjustments are preferred during class
-Sign a waiver
