Tropical hotspot in Regina a welcome oasis during Saskatchewan’s deep freeze
On January 24, 2026, 980 CJME featured the Regina Floral Conservatory as a tropical oasis and a perfect place to escape the cold weather. Ron Sharpe (RGA President) and Mariana Hinajosa Centella (RGA Vice President) were interviewed and highlighted the benefits of the floral conservatory as a tropical escape.

The Regina Floral Conservatory is operated by volunteers of the Regina Garden Associates (RGA). Volunteer at the Conservatory by becoming a member of the RGA. There are many roles for you to get involved and volunteer your time!
